Many thanks for this app. But why are the maps so old. There are newer one from Google.

This app has a ton of features not found on many iPhone GPS apps. A very good coordinate converter, lots of export format options, intuitive options for creating waypoints (and a built in way to convert coords to the appropriate Google Street address). You can project waypoints with bearing/distance. Includes Google terrain layer as well. There are two main disadvantages: From what I can tell (1) there is no tracking function and (2) there is no way to import common formats (kml, gpx, etc). If it were able to do that it might be the all in one GPS app. Im hoping they add these functions soon.

The authors of this app have met the needs of almost every imaginable user of GPS data. The coordinate conversion functional one is amazing, but theres so much more. Data lists, Multiple Map Formats, Export capabilities. Just brilliant. Immensely useful to pilots, sailors, anyone in the military. Highly recommended. Its a joy just to explore all the features.

Very nice app and all functions work, but having problems with import function, send by email would not work for me, transfer files in what format I dont know, like to move files from windows to ipad would be nice, and to see log way points, from gps data logger.

Hi, this application is very nice you but Except for the UTM WGS84 package or datum 1950 European Standard UTM (ED50) is included at the coordinates that would be great and added a new download would be nice if Google hybrid maps

I got this app right after it came out, and have loved it ever since. But....! Why cant the satellite maps be updated? I have new facilities in my fire response area that arent on the maps, but are on other mapping programs. I have Blue Pins designating structures, that are sitting in the middle of large grassy fields. If at all possible, please update the maps! Thank you!!!

Perfect for my use, determining a 200 foot radius circle around structures for brush clearance (fire insurance requirement). Put a pin on the structure, set the radius, then walk around the edge of the circle staking it out. Id give it 5 stars but it has locked up a few times in the couple of days Ive been using it. Thats a nuisance, but the app still gets the job done.

Would like to use Garmin GLO or other Bluetooth gps to use within app.

I have never written a review but had to for this app! Great tools for retail real estate site selection...takes the place of my yellow pad and scattered notes. Only wish I could take a photo that stored with each location I created!

Combines many of the various functionalities of Google Earth and Google Maps, smoothly and seamlessly. I effectively replaced my Garmin, lost hiking in the woods, with this app. Not only have I not regretted this decision, Im actually happier with this app than I was with my $200 GPS device. It simply does everything I need it to and more. Great being able to enter detailed descriptions of all waypoints, too, rather than being limited to six characters. Even better, two of the three issues I had with it were fixed with the last update. Fantastic.

My topo programs wont overlay google maps and google earth doesnt seem to let you even drop a point! This app does both and is a valuable connector for exporting, converting, or deciding on coordinates! Our 15 person trip was saved by buying this app in a last ditch effort.

Great app..HIGHLY recommend..used for land navigation and found points quickly and accurately...

Great App, Ive only briefly started using it. But at first glance it does everything I was looking for: convert coordinate formats, distance & bearing, set waypoints with descriptions. Things Id like to see in future versions: ability to choose between magnetic north and true north for bearing calculations (and display them as a map feature even if working on another item), more distance and coordinate systems, ability to display multiple distance formats at the same time (i.e. Elevation in feet and meters), and lastly the ability to hard set distances (i.e. I only want to see distance in nautical miles even if measurement is less than 1 nm, or meters even if greater than 1km). Overall great program I look forward to future updates. Highly recommended!!

I was looking for an app that allowed me to place inspection points on a map around structures. On Day One - This app allowed me to do everything I wanted and tagged the points with GPS within a few feet. Cant wait to see what I can do once I learn how to use it.

Highly recommend to anyone needing to create and work with .gpx and .kml files among others. Only one suggestion so far. Ability to import .gpx and .kml files, which the developer is currantly working on. Thanks for a great app.

Wanted something simple and easy for quick driving directions and this is NOT it!!! Would get my money back if I could.

Does nothing for me. Bought it accidently and was a huge blunder.

I needed a GPS mapping app to locate my acreage gps coordinates. This app blows away my requirements, and on both iPad and iPhone, with data sharing!

Using it for field work and it works as promised. Great for planning purposes especially in conjunction with google maps. Of course that function is subject to good reception 4G.
